Kenneth N. Smolar, Partner
Ken is known throughout the national title industry as an
authority on residential real estate and settlement in the attorney states. He founded PC Law Associates in 2007 and has since enhanced his reputation by serving as a panelist at multiple national conferences and forums.
Previously, Ken practiced law in private practice and with the government, serving as Counsel for the Pennsylvania Securities Commission and as a Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
Ken received a B.A from Haverford College and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Mary is nationally recognized for her extensive knowledge of attorney state practice, as well as her ability to translate complex legal, economic, and operational needs into compliant and efficient solutions for the firm's clients.
Through her work with the firm since 2011, Mary provides strategic vision and possesses an inherent ability to advance technology initiatives and processes to enhance operational efficiencies for the firm's clients.
Mary obtained both her B.A. and J.D. from Duquesne University. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She also holds title agent licenses in multiple states.
